I thought I would try something different and show you the process we go though with a client in developing a new logo. Our client Pepe Studio Inc. (an amazing interior design company in Manhattan Beach, California), needed to update their existing logo. I started by talking and emailing back and forth to get a good idea of the client's aesthetic, color preference, and some key words that the final logo should convey. Then I do lots of sketches, image research, doodling and finally refine those ideas down to 6-8 initial versions to show to the client. It ends up looking something like this for the first round.
Sometimes there are many rounds, but with this logo there were just a few small tweaks, and we have the final version!
Next we took this logo and applied it to a full business collateral suite. The only thing not shown is some signage we did for the storefront...
Once this is approved, we price out printing options, adjust the design accordingly, and last but not least, get some printing done! We had the associate business cards and address labels flat printed printed as it is way more cost effective, and the client decided to go with the rubberstamp for the return address for now, but that is pretty much it....from design concept to actual printed pieces. Fun, right? We have three different pricing options (hourly, logo and business card design, or logo and full collateral design), if you are interested, just give us a call or email!
