Hi, Today I thought I'd show you one of the more labor intensive and unusual business cards we've designed lately. I worked closely with Nick in designing these business cards (he is not only an amazing tattoo artist, but also a really fantastic fine artist, check out his website nickchaboya.com to see some examples of his work). He was inspired by old apothecary labels, old medical illustrations and wanted an aged card that had a sense of history. We used a double thick cotton rag paper (Lettra Ecru in 600 gram), and hand tea stained each sheet, (both sides) to make each card a unique little piece of art. Then the card was printed with 2 colors on the back and a split run of 2 colors on the front (half were printed in a dark brown, half in a bronze metallic.). The last photo is the card on press.
